Name: Zahira

Race: Gerudo

Age: 24

Height: 5'7"

Occupation: Thief/Seamstress

Weapons: Occasionally small bladed weapons, but she mostly uses martial arts when she needs to fight

Special skills: Sewing, thieving, fighting

Items: Lockpicks and various tools if theiving

Brief Bio: Zahira was born in Termina, but left the Gerudo to move to Kakariko in her early twenties and started working in a pleasure house as a servingwoman. She quickly learned that a number of the men who frequented the establishment were easy to steal from and extort, especially after more than a few drinks. She has since left that job and has moved to Hyrule Castle Town and opened a tailor shop as a front for her theiving. She maintains a tenuous connection to the Theives Guild.

Zahira is pretty laid back and not particularly motivated or energetic. Theiving is convenient and easy for her, so she's never bothered finding something better to do. She's not particularly good with other people, and typically comes across as dour and annoyed even though she is a generally happy person. She still attempts to make friends, though, and enjoys the company of others.

She never tries to steal from people she considers to be generally good, and only steals from people that clearly have an excess of wealth. She's somewhat altruistic, always happy to help those in need, but most of what she gets from theiving she keeps for herself. She is not ostentatious and never flaunts her wealth, though she does often wear ornate clothing as a way to advertise being a seamstress.

Quirks: She likes tattoos and piercings, though she keeps a fair margin of her tattoos concealed under clothing. One of her tattoos is a heavily stylized portrayal of Nayru's symbol that Niccele designed for her (Niccele has one of Din's symbol designed by Zahira).

She gets bored easily and will rearrange her shop at least weekly. She also frequently adds tattoos and piercings to her collection.

She does, however, like consistency in some things in her life; Niccele for instance. She also doesn't like to move around too much; she would have preferred to stay in Kakariko longer, but Castle Town promised a much more stable and peaceful life.

History: Zahira grew up in the Gerudo fortress in Great Bay in Termina. She was trained as a thief and guard, but became discontent and bored with her life there. She didn't like the selfish and solitary mindset the Gerudo seemed to have. She left when she was twenty-one and moved to Kakariko.

After spending some time there, attempting to support herself by just stealing, she started working as a servingwoman at one of the pleasure houses in the city. Though she was pressured into being a prostitute, she was not attracted to men and refused, insistently, many times.

Her theiving became more lucrative once she started working there. She began to track the regulars and found many of them easy targets. She had a soft spot in her heart for the other women at the pleasure house and whenever one was beaten by a customer, that customer became her next target. She would always share some of the money she stole with the woman who was beaten. In return, they taught her some of their tricks for seducing and coercing men, which Zahira applied with great success.

After about a year in Kakariko, Zahira met and fell in love with a woman named Niccele, a fellow thief. She left the pleasure house and spent the next half of a year learning to be a seamstress and saving money so that she and Niccele could buy a shop in Castle Town to use as a front for theiving.

They moved to Castle Town and have spent the last year and a half there appearing to be, for all intents and purposes, a moderately successful seamstress and her "husband" who manages her storefront for her. Zahira has come to really enjoy being a seamstress, but she still loves the thrill of being a thief and will not be giving that up as her main means of income any time soon.

She does maintain an affiliation with the Thieves Guild, though mostly out of convenience. She and Niccele prefer to plan and carry out their own raids. Not only that, but Zahira finds many of the jobs in the Thieves Guild somewhat unsavory and exploitative.
